Auto/Manual Reset Relays : Product Details 

Automatic/Manual Reset Relays are basically two (2) position, directional flow control valves that have the combined control functions of both Automatic Reset and Manual Reset Relays. These safety system component valves are utilized with Remote Telemetry Units to provide automatic start-up operation of unmanned Oil & Gas production facilities.

They are most frequently utilized as two position, three way Normally Closed, controls with a "spring return" (fail close) design feature. Automatic/Manual Reset Relays are typically used in "Block & Bleed"(Quick Exhaust function) Remote Telemetry safety system, control circuit applications, that monitor pneumatic or hydraulic, fault detection devices. Automatic/Manual Reset Relays directly control the open/close sequence or operation of Surface Safety Valves (SSV).

The Automatic/Manual Reset Relay's Stem assembly can also be manually positioned to achieve an in-service or operating status whenever no electrical power is available (to automatically gain instrument supply output or pressurize the receiving control circuit).
